We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Dish Room Lead. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our dish room operations. Job Description: The Dish Room Lead will oversee the dish room operations and ensure that dishes, utensils, and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner. They will be responsible for managing a team of dishwashers and ensuring that they are following all safety and sanitation protocols. This position reports to the Kitchen Manager. Shift: 8 am to 4 pm @$17.55/hr Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k, + additional employee benefits. Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise a team of dishwashers, providing guidance and support as needed - Maintain a clean and organized dish room, ensuring that all equipment and utensils are properly stored - Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, including regular cleaning and maintenance - Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and submit orders as needed - Inspect dishes, utensils, and equipment for cleanliness and report any issues to management - Ensure that all safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times - Train new dishwashers on proper dishwashing techniques and sanitation procedures - Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed Requirements: - Previous experience in a similar role in the food and beverage industry - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks - Knowledge of proper sanitation and safety guidelines - Ability to lift and move heavy objects - Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
