JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire an Accountant for our client! Benefits Available! Remote Position! Pay Rate - $40-49/hr Shift: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm PST. Can live in any time zone, but must be willing to work PST hours Job Description This individual will be helping the team, working on an integration project (escrow space) Helping with monthly closing Cash reconciliation - In escrow space Transaction volume is very high and will increase- so must dela with high level transaction. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses. Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and required years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. MUST HAVES: Minimum 4 years of accounting experience BA is required Experience with monthly close outs, cash reconciliations (A MUST) as there will be a high volume: monthly - 4,000 - 5,000 transactions per month that will only be growing, general entry, monthly accruals, and revenue items (revenue recognition a+) ** Don't need to be a CPA Strong Excel skills also a must.
