JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Classification Contractor for our client to work remotely! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $38.45/Hour Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM based on EST hours but flexible depending on your time zone. CLASSIFICATION CONTRACTOR Closely align and interface with operations and engineering teams, trade compliance peers, and other business partners to obtain the necessary technical characteristics and data that will allow all classification work to be done in a timely manner. In addition, you will be expected to participate and contribute to the many other facets of responsibilities, processes, and procedures which the compliance department manages across the company. This position requires the individual to be self-motivated, have strong attention to detail skills, and the ability to demonstrate a passionate can-do attitude. Working from a home residence requires the individual to hold themselves accountable and work efficiently with limited supervision. Job Duties to include but not limited to: . Classify products, spare parts, equipment, tooling, and 3rd party products in accordance with Import Administration Regulations . Work cross functionally to obtain product data, documents, material information to ensure proper classification of the items . Maintaining classifications and import logic in enterprise systems . Disseminating classifications to other departments as needed . Collecting and managing 3rd party product classification support Key Qualifications: . Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with some business, international trade, project management and/or engineering, and/or computer coursework. . Strong working knowledge and experience with USHTS classification . Ability to refine and develop processes to gather the information necessary to classify the products against the regulations. . Experience in creating & maintaining documentation of Import Compliance controls & processes and record keeping desired. . Ability to communicate and partner with other business groups . Flexibility & adaptability to enthusiastically cross-support other Import Compliance areas. . Working knowledge of SAP/GTS is desirable . Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and PC skills . Prefer at least 5 years classification in Communication Equipment. | |
