Weekly Pay! $37.14/Hour Shift Details: 8:00PM - 5:00AM DESCRIPTION: Candidates must be bilingual - English/Spanish Must have ride on Pallet Jack Exp Must have Double Blade Forklift Exp Must have 3-5 year Sanitation Exp The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for supervising sanitation employees, ensuring daily sanitary conditions of equipment and plant are met each day before production starts. Responsible for training and follow-up on all employees tenure standards and regulatory guidelines are met. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS Employees receive a copy of Palisades Ranch organizational reporting structure at the time of hire. It is assisted in the break room. DUTIES AND JOB FUNCTIONS Each employee is responsible for the food safety and quality of our products. Each employee is responsible for reporting food safety problems personnel with authority initiate action (managers, supervisors, QA). Supervise cleaning operations of the processing, packaging, staging and dock facilities. Trains new sanitation employees and helps them develop skills that will make them proficient at their tasks. Delegates? tasks within crew ensure required cleaning gets done in accordance with an established schedule and according written procedures. Responsible for making sure these tasks are done thoroughly and completion of them is properly documented. Responsible for cleaning overhead areas throughout the facility including pipes, cords/hoses, light covers and other fixtures. Provide monthly safety training the sanitation crew. Responsible for preparing the plant each day sit will pass company and USDA inspection. Tracks employees? attendance. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices. Complete other duties as assigned. OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPOSIBILITIES Consistent compliance with all company policies and procedures. Understand and know the company?s safety and health goals and the objectives. Assist the company in achieving these goals by participating in the safety program. Help develop and follow all safe work practices. Give a written report of unsafe conditions or unsafe acts management. Report all accidents, injuries or illness managers/supervisors. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIORNMENT Physical strength lift and maneuver 50-60 pounds. Standing, stooping and climbing are regular activities for this employee. Employee must have the ability negotiate throughout the production and warehouse areas unassisted without disrupting regular production and warehousing activities. Normal levels of eyesight and hearing after correction. Color vision is required. The ability touch, feel, manipulate fingers and limbs operate various processing and material handling equipment is necessary. The ability smell is required, in order detect levels of wholesomeness and spoilage. This position requires the candidate be in refrigerated processing and warehouse areas. These areas are cold and wet and exposure moving machinery and sharp surfaces area a regular occurrence. This is a high noise area.
