Jobsrus.com is looking to hire Assemblers on 1st shift for a medical manufacturing facility in San Jose, CA!

Pay Rate: $24
Shift: 6am-230pm (Mon - Fri)

Steel toe shoes required
Must be available for a second interview in person

Qualifications:
o High school diploma or equivalent.,
o 1-2 year of manufacturing assembly experience with packaging experience
o Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis.
o Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment and willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.

Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations.
Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as microscopes.
Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis. Has good attention to detail.

Occasionally, this position will also require assisting packaging based on business needs. Responsible for the manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial products. Perform finished product packaging as required to satisfy all customer, internal, clinical, and other demand. Ensure finished product is packaged in accordance with procedures and Quality specifications. Inspect in-process packaging, components to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products and packaging material. Perform routine cleaning of packaging station and processing equipment. Abide by all personal protective equipment and product contamination control (i.e., gowning) requirements. Handle hazardous waste as appropriate. Work well in a team environment. Good documentation practices. Must be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule including static or rotating shifts and overtime as required.##
