DESCRIPTION:

Candidates must have computer skills Excel to include pivot tables, word, outlook, teams
Candidates must be organized and a self-starter
Candidates must have customer service skills they will be contacting outside Sysco clients, delivery drivers and inside Sysco managers
Good Communication is a must
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Candidates will be conducting inventory audits
0-3 Years of Experience, This is an Operations position responsible for performing clerical duties within the Transportation department including maintaining all regulatory compliance as required by the Department of Transportation.

Responsibilities include:
Gather, organize and process driver daily paperwork, logs, manifest, vehicle inspection, etc.
Answer phones, route calls and take messages Research short on truck that driver s call in Respond to delivery associate issue and provide support for resolution Create Driver Qualification files as needed and maintain all required documents in Supervision as required under Department of Transportation guidelines, i.e. drivers license status, Medical Examination Cards, Certificate of Violations, monitor MVR status, etc. Monitor and review all driver logs and violations through the onboard computer system, Telogis Run daily reports for transportation supervisors, i.e.
Observations, Vehicle Tracking, etc.
Daily monitoring of Drive Cam Events and processing them for coaching and signatures Backup for New Driver DOT Training Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervision or management. Requirements include a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent, ability to read, write, and understand English, basic arithmetic skills, good physical stamina and conditioning, and the ability to learn to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. Gather, organize and process driver daily paperwork, logs, manifest, vehicle inspection, etc.
Answer phones, route calls and take messages.
Research operation challenges, order supplies, liaison between office and operations Respond to delivery associate issues and provide support for a resolution.
Process inbound freight paperwork weekly.
Primary contact for any inbound freight issues.
Run daily reports for operations supervisors (i.e. observations, vehicle tracking, etc.)Perform all other tasks as assigned by supervision or management.
