Weekly Pay! $25.00/Hour DESCRIPTION: JOB DESIGNATION The Facilities Technician monitors and maintains utilities and process equipment following standard procedures, requirements and safety policies. Follows well-defined instructions to maintain, troubleshoot and repair utilities and process equipment, while optimizing the utilization of Client Meggitt facilities. JOB CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a variety of skilled maintenance for facilities, including, but not limited to, painting, plumbing, electrical, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). Ensures facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Plans, organizes and prioritizes work activities and duties in order to maintain facilities Inspects, repairs, replaces, services and maintains existing electromechanical Conducts electrical systems conduit runs, including light and power circuits, motors, control equipment, light fixtures and panels Understands and follows safety procedures, maintenance instructions, manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics and assembly diagrams Ensures the safe usage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safety procedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Provide painting services for interior and exterior spaces. Maintains necessary records/documents of work performed Follows all safety policy and procedures Other responsibilities as assigned Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations is preferred. Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field Years Experience: 2+ years or more of relevant experience Skills: Knowledge of industrial systems; electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and compressed gas Must know HVAC Ability to recognize and solve typical problems from established operating procedures and/or scientific methods Safely and effectively use, operate, and maintain tools and equipment. Maintain facilities and equipment in a clean, safe, and secure manner. Perform work as directed in an efficient, effective, safe, and timely manner. Maintain accurate records and reports. Experience in working within a team environment and able to adapt to changes in work requirements Respond appropriately to changing situations. Independently organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and follow up on assignments. Demonstrate strong customer service skills and establish, maintain, and foster positive and effective working relationships. Able to read and interpret documents, schematics and blueprints. Preventative Maintenance Excellent customer service skills Nice to Have: EPA 608 Certification WORK AUTHORIZATION: This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore, a ?US Person? as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. U.S. Citizenship/Permanent residency is required for most positions. Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, and location as well as market and business considerations.
