Quality Assurance Engineer Company: JobsRUs.com Location: St. Albans, Vermont ONSITE Job Summary: JobsRUs.com is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer for our client in St. Albans, Vermont. This role is responsible for driving quality improvement and ensuring compliance with all requirements, including Company?s Quality Management System, AS9100, and ISO9001 standards. Key Responsibilities: ? Develop and implement quality engineering tools (SPC, AQL, CPk) to enhance process reliability. ? Promote continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce scrap and rework. ? Lead quality and statistical process control programs (e.g., FMEA, Gage R&R, SPC, Lean practices). ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain and improve product quality and shop floor processes. ? Evaluate and manage non-conforming materials, products, and services to meet quality requirements. ? Develop and maintain Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documents, such as PPAPs. ? Own and improve Return Material Authorization (RMA) and Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA) processes. ? Manage measuring equipment and non-destructive testing processes, ensuring compliance and documentation. ? Ensure internal and external calibrations are scheduled and executed according to procedures. Qualifications: ? Bachelor?s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; MBA preferred. ? 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. ? Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. ? Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills. ? Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with quality management systems. ? AS9100 and/or ISO9001 Lead Auditor Certification is preferred. ? Experience with continuous improvement and Lean methodologies. Working Conditions: ? Primary work is conducted at STC?s facilities in St. Albans, Vermont. ? Office environment is climate-controlled, but shop floor work is required, which can be noisy and dusty. ? Some domestic travel may be required (10% annually). Physical Demands: ? May involve standing and walking for extended periods, as well as occasional lifting or carrying of objects up to 50 pounds.
