JobsRus has partnered with a local producer and packer company of dried food located in Vacaville, CA. We are currently hiring for a Sanitation position. Monday through Friday ( open to work weekends) Hours: 5pm to 1:30am Pay Rate: $17hr ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Knowledge of nature and properties of sanitation chemicals. Keeps work area clean and orderly using common cleaning equipment, and preps equipment for cleaning. Operates cleaning equipment such as HPLV, steam-injected water lines, soap dispensers, and sanitizer dispensers. Must be familiar with safe machine operations where machinery must be cleaned while running. Familiar with lock-out/tag-out locations and procedures. Cleans and maintains production area in proper sanitation condition at shift end. Responsible for ensuring safe working conditions and work practices in assigned areas, including written procedures for safely handling and using chemical compounds. May operate a forklift on a limited basis. Removes excess material or refuse as directed. Weighs and label bins. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to work regularly scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Responsible for other duties relating to the overall effort as directed. Complies and understands GMPs.
