Jobsrus.com is seeking Assemblers & Machine Crimpers for the production line to work 2nd shift M-Th (3pm-12:30am) every other Friday (3:00pm- 11:30pm) with every other Friday off. Openings: Crimping Machine Operator 17/hr.-20/hr. Wire Stripping 17/hr.-20/hr. Wire Tinning 17/hr.-18/hr. Perks: 401-k, Health, Dental and Vision on day one! Bi-weekly pay. Temp to hire. Every other Friday off! The ideal candidate must read and understand given instructions. Must have the ability to work well in an assembly line as part of a team and follow established procedures and guidelines. Crimpers must have experience operating a crimping machine. Specifically, JST, HRS, Molex, AMP, or EDAC. Assembler performs repetitive manual tasks associated with the assembly of parts, components and/or units at floor workstations. Requirements: 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred Ability to distinguish different colors and audible tones Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions Excellent reading and verbal communication skills Must follow detailed instructions and work well in a team Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks Physical and Mental Demands This position requires the ability to walk and move around the production floor, as well as the capacity to stand, walk, climb stairs, and sit for extended periods. Occasionally, the role may involve bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. There may be a need to lift, carry, and move items ranging from light to heavy weights, from 5 to 35 pounds, with occasional pushing of up to 50 pounds. Hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp hand tools and type or write for extended periods, will also be necessary. The job also requires visual acuity, peripheral vision, and the ability to distinguish colors, as well as close and long-distance vision with the ability to adjust focus to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment and hand tools, and read information for prolonged periods. Furthermore, the role will require the ability to reach with hands and arms and engage in prolonged periods of talking and listening. NO HSD OR GED IS REQUIRED | |
