JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire multiple Lab Associates for our client in Glen Burnie! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $21.00/Hour Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm. Every other Monday with same hours. Week with Monday off includes an extra day off. You will work with fecal samples from veterinary offices, handling over 1,000 samples daily from pets in a busy, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Handle fecal samples: swirl, load into analyzers, unload, and refrigerate. Restock and move samples within the lab. Track and manage sample inventory. Perform additional duties as needed. Examples of Preferred Background: Veterinary Technicians or Receptionists. Food Service Workers (used to fast-paced environments). Production Workers. EMTs. Human Lab Technicians. Work Environment: Fast-paced and production-like. Wear comfortable shoes; scrubs or jeans (no exposed skin). Be ready to take on various tasks as needed. In This Role, You Will: Perform lab tests to diagnose animal illnesses. Process specimens and manage test results. Maintain lab schedules and inventory. Keep the lab clean and maintained. Support lab processes and database management. Keep accurate records and analyze data. Transcribe and edit medical reports. Handle administrative tasks like answering phones and preparing deliveries. What You Need to Succeed: Ability to read and understand safety rules, SOPs, and technical documents. Strong multitasking and prioritization skills. Initiative and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP preferred. Physical ability to handle hazardous waste and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
