Weekly Pay! $49.00/Hour DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities for this position include the following: Loads and unloads materials from trucks and warehouse. Stores warehouse goods, in accordance with prescribed storage methods. Operates hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts. Maintains warehouse facilities in a neat, clean, safe, and orderly condition. Picks materials and supplies. Assigns accounting and budgeting codes warehouse transactions. Enters inventory transactions in system. Verifies deliveries against delivery tickets, packing slips, and bills of lading. Interacts with other departments and vendors, resolve delivery issues. Performs manages monthly inventory cycle counts, including research of over/under issues and adjustments. Assists with monitoring balances of material inventories, and requisitions additional goods. Participates in safety meetings for warehouse employees. Maintains databases. Manages project materials by ordering, storing, issuing and documenting distribution. Purchases emergency parts and supplies. Responds data requests from other departments. Responsible for one or more of the following specialized functions: inventory cycle counts, inventory replenishment, project material support, and logistical support for stores. May travel other Dominion Energy Warehouse's for work Performs other duties as requested or assigned. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience At least 2 years related experience; Knowledge of warehouse distribution policies and procedures; Knowledge of accounting codes and procedures; Knowledge and understanding of inventory materials and its uses, assign correct coding inventory transactions; Knowledge of basic math; Knowledge of, and ability use, personal computer and related software; Skill in operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts; Ability apply accounting principles research and analyze inventory data and problems; Ability communicate effectively orally, and in writing; Ability lift or move at least 65 pounds, unassisted; Ability interact with others, communicate clear instructions, and evaluate results. Good attendance record (i.e., arriving at agreed-upon time). Ability communicate effectively orally and in writing. Preferred Years of Experience: 2-3 years of related experience.
