As a Payroll Specialist, you will be integral to a collaborative leadership group, driving the squad?s project scope and ensuring all activities are aligned with our client?s goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the squad assigned to your area of project scope Define the project scope and strategy, aligning with stakeholders and ensuring ongoing management Develop and maintain a detailed, realistic project plan that integrates with other workstreams Identify and address resource gaps and performance issues, escalating to project leadership as needed Oversee squad activities, approving all outputs and deliverables Ensure thorough documentation of all project elements (functional requirements, process documents, change impact assessments, test requirements, test scenarios, training communication materials, etc.) Identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies, implementing mitigations or corrective actions Follow PMO defined processes for progress reporting and collaboration across workstreams Participate in the Discovery Phase, Due Diligence, downselect, and negotiations to ensure smooth knowledge transition Recommend strategies, validate directions, and provide guidance in solutioning Attend status meetings and contribute as needed, meeting all PMO requirements Conduct data gathering and research as required by the project Job Requirements Proven experience in payroll management Strong leadership and project management skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to identify and address resource gaps and performance issues Strong documentation skills and attention to detail Ability to manage risks, issues, and interdependencies effectively Familiarity with PMO processes and requirements High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in payroll or project management are a plus Competitive pay and benefits Weekly pay for added convenience Opportunity to lead and manage impactful projects Work in a collaborative and dynamic environment Be part of a company that values professional growth and development If you have the experience and skills to excel in this role, we want to hear from you!
