Weekly Pay! $15.00/Hour Shift Details: 3:00PM-11:30PM DESCRIPTION: Responsible for removal and transport of all recycling and waste (to include solid waste, regulated medical waste, universal waste, pharmaceutical, RCRA/hazardous waste). Also able to perform general Hospitality Associate, Environmental Services I duties when needed. Major Responsibilities: Quality Adhere to safety and sanitation policies. Adhere to policies related to storage, handling and disposale of RMW(regulated medical waste), RCRA/Hazmat, solid waste and universal. Maintain and adhere to Environmental Services uniform and personal appearance standards at all times Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) and Hazardous Waste training and maintains proficiency. Report all hazards and unsafe work conditions. Service Focus on patient experience and follow all patient experience standards Collaborate with leadership with recommendations for patient experience improvement. Manage service recovery as needed. Maintains cleanliness of waste holding/storage areas Delivers clean and removes solid linen as needed People Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization. Participate in team and individual employee training. Growth Participate in training with senior housekeepers to further develop/advance within the industry. Finance Manage waste/recycling in order to meet/exceed facility waste and recycling cost goals. Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to minimize waste. Follow all time keeping standards: time clock procedures, meal breaks, timely clocking Other Performs other duties as assigned. Practices and adheres to the ?Code of Conduct? and ?Mission and Value Statement.? Education & Experience: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Preferred 1 + years of experience in healthcare Preferred 1 + years of experience in housekeeping or service related field Preferred Licensure, Certifications, Training: Credential*: Required: Preferred: Grace Period Where applicable, instructor card accepted in place of student credential.
