Weekly Pay! $51.72/Hour Shift: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM ALL CONTINGENCY REQUESTS MUST BE ON THE SUBMISSION FORM Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Preferred Certifications: CGRN certification recommended within 2 years after hire date, but not required Years of Experience: 1 year Endo Float Requirements: Outpatient Endoscopy and Hospital Endoscopy locations on same campus Unit Information: Number of Beds: up to 9 procedure rooms with 36 pre/post bays/beds Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:2 Equipment: Olympus Scopes, ERBE EMR: EPIC, Provation Hiring Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: Procedure room documentation, procedure room tools and turnover, admit, recover. Preferred Skillset/Experience: Conscious sedation, PACU, Gastroenterology experience preferred, one year of hospital nursing experience (med-surg, ICU or ED). Type of Patients on Unit: Inpatient and Outpatient Personality Fit: Fast-paced, teamwork driven. Dress Code: Scrub Color: Black or provided surgical scrubs Any unacceptable attire: anything other than above scrubs Additional Information: Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of client Hospital Springfield, the Philosophy of the Sisters of client, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and the Employee Code of Conduct. Performs related duties as assigned. Experience: Basic dysrhythmia knowledge. Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Specialized skill, judgment and knowledge. Good communication skills, able to work closely with physicians and other staff. Skills to work with delicate instruments. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Stand, walk, and sit most of the time on duty. Meet unit specific physical demands. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, call, or work frequency according to patient care requirements. Able to lift, push and move heavy equipment. Able to work with fluoroscopy. Physical demands are attached plus a.push, pull up to 40#/50# respectively and b.grip up to 50 # plus, pinch up to 10 lbs. c.low positioned work including kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: Video/fiberoptic endoscopic systems, various cautery units, fluoroscopy, IV pumps, ect., patient monitoring equipment, computers. | |
