DESCRIPTION:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Prefer High School Diploma or GED, but will accept 2 Years of Relevant Experience in lieu of Diploma/GED
Related experience and/or training in an industrial environment
Must be 18 years or older

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Follows all Client safety policies and procedures.
General Daily Housekeeping
General Cleaning Tasks as assigned by Shift Leader
Attach labels on finished products
Complete Lock, Tag, Try when entering safety gates
Manually moving materials to support production line, slip sheets, cardboard cores with cart, etc.
General Light duty tasks as assigned by Shift Leader
Ensures clean and orderly housekeeping in all assigned areas at all times.
Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by the supervisor.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Must be able to understand/ follow verbal and written instructions
Must be able to work independently

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to:
Ability to safeguard self with proper PPE for the specific task
Lift/carry/move up to 50 lbs. independently and heavier weights with assistance.
Exposure to hot/cold temperature- continuously
Exposure to noise- continuously
Hand/Eye Coordination? continuously
Wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation) ? continuously
Walk, Sit, Stand for duration of shift with regular breaks
Climb stairs, steps, and ladders, as well as work at heights on equipment, platforms, and walkways.
Perform bending, squatting, kneeling, leaning, and reaching at both ground level and overhead.
Ability to work extended hours as necessary
Communicate with co-workers face to face, by telephone, and electronic communications.
Able to give and understand instructions and hold conversations in manufacturing environment, as well as an office or classroom setting.
Possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment, operate a computer and other standard office equipment.
Vision adequate to manipulate equipment controls, complete paperwork, utilize computers, and have depth perception.
