JobsRUS.com is currently hiring and looking for a driver that serves as a yard MULE operator! This will be a temp to perm position, you will be on a 90 day trial period and if passed will be hired on directly by our client. Weekly pay, full time opportunity! 2 shifts are currently OPEN: 1st Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm Pay: $19.00/hour 3rd Shift: Sunday through Tuesday 7am-7:30pm Pay: $19.50/hour OT as needed - Located in Pasadena, TX 77507 Hiring for both shifts, send your resume to houston-branch@jobsrus.com for immediate consideration. Job description: ?Move containers/dry vans around the yard ? Inspects and moves containers and dry vans to and from the sea bulk line ?Utilizes heavy equipment and performs a variety of physical and labor-intensive tasks to move cargo and trailers around plant property ?Safely operates a Yard Mule Truck and assists with the loading of freight ?Performs pre-shift mechanical inspection of assigned company truck (Yard Mule), truck cargo, equipment and supplies, such as fire extinguisher, tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water ?Couples and uncouples trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air ?Maneuvers trucks into loading or unloading positions and verifies that the vehicle and loading equipment are positioned properly and secured safely ? No CDL required, only yard spotter/driver experience required Requirements: ?Previous yard mule experience in a fast pace environment with at least 2 years of driving experience ?Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations ? Ability to lift 25lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs. ?
