We are now hiring forklift operators for a Gatorade bottling company in the city of Buena Park, CA. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load containers and move heavy equipment in a fast-paced setting within our facility. This role requires a good understanding of forklift operation principles and a high level of comfort handling heavy loads. Duties; The Forklift Operator will supply the production lines with product and materials; move raw materials, pallets of finished goods, and other materials around the production and or/storage warehouse. The operator will also load containers as needed. 1. Completes Daily Forklift Inspection checklist 2. Make sure that all pallets are properly wrapped, labeled, and have a barcode label 3. Load outbound trailers making sure that the trailer is locked at all times. 4. Unload incoming materials and check that the received quantity matches. 5. Check and verify materials received are not defected or damaged. 6. Relieve production line forklift operator for breaks and lunch. 7. Ensures all safety techniques are used in all aspects of daily work responsibilities 8. Follows Good Manufacturing Procedures (hairnet, beard net, ear plugs, steel toe shoes) 9. Other duties assigned as needed Shifts Available: ? Second Shift: 3:00PM-11:30PM ? Third Shift: 11:00PM ? 7:30AM Hourly Rate: $18 - $18.60hr (DOE) 1st Shift: 7:00AM - 3:00PM Work Schedule: Monday through Friday Must be able to work weekends as needed. SKILLS/QUALIFICATION: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent; 2. Must have 3-year experience operating a sit-down forklift. 3. Clean driving record and forklift experience + certification required. 4. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace environment 7. Perform repetitive and non-repetitive physical duties 8. Must be able to read/speak/write English 9. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Lifting: Up to 50 lbs. Frequency: Occasionally Height to lift: 3 ft. 2. Carrying: Up to 40 lbs. Distance: 3 ft. Frequency: Occasionally 3. Walking: 1 hour - Frequency: Occasionally 4. Standing: 1 hour - Frequency: Occasionally 5. Sitting: 6 hours - Frequency: Constantly 6. Wear steel toed boots 7.
