JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Quality Control Data Associate for our client in Athens, Ga!

Pay $29.00/Hour

Duties:
Shift-first
Hours- - 7:30am or 8:00am to 4:00pm or 4:30pm
The Associate, Quality Control Data will manage the following functions in the Quality Control Department: Sample Life Cycle Management in compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements. Responsible as an approved USDA sampler and providing Quality Assurance and Production support as needed.

Sample Life Cycle Management: responsible for daily sample submission receipt (including the maintenance of the log book, coolers and freezers), preparation of retention samples, maintenance and discarding of retention samples and retention database.

Data Integrity: Responsible for Quality Control test record issuance, filing and reconciliation.

Accountable to all related USDA, international, and GMP Biologics requirements at the Athens site for maintaining product registrations in >90 countries.

Alignment of test reporting and release functions across different areas at the Athens site (Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Production).

Interfaces with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production, Planning and USDA to ensure testing, release and support functions are consistent and within regulatory requirements.

Functional knowledge of computer systems such as laboratory information management systems(LIMS) is required. Functional knowledge of product manufacturing activities is recommended.

Ensures quality samples and data in Quality Control through:
- Management of samples
- Distribution and reconciliation of test documentation
- Filing of test documentation

Skills:
Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Production preferred.

Must have the following:
-Solid verbal communication skills
-Solid written communication skills
-Detail oriented
-Time management
-Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize
-Experience in root cause analysis tools
-Ability to understand and comply with Quality Assurance and regulatory requirements (9CFR, Outlines of Production,etc.)
-Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly and easily learn new applications

Education:
Associates degree 0- 2 years of relevant industry experience required;
Bachelors degree in a scientific discipline, preferred.
