Seeking to hire a Material Handler for our client in Canaan, CT! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! 23.00 per hour 7am to 7pm Description For education, a HS diploma or GED will be preferred, as well as prior industrial experience preferred, but no longer mandatory. Key Responsibilities Material Handling: Use forklifts to move materials and products within a plant, office, or ware May keep records of material movements. Develops basic skills for tasks within one area. Completes routine tasks following specific steps. Follows Standard Operating Procedures SOPs and quality guidelines. Works with some supervision. Basic Skills Can communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors. Can read, write, understand English, and do basic math. Basic computer skills. Can work in an environment focused on performance metrics. Physical Demands Activities Frequently walk, stand, stoop, kneel, balance, climb, lift, crouch, reach, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, twist.
