Pay $19.34/Hour 1ST Shift: MONDAY-FRIDAY 6AM-2:30PM with mandatory OT that can extend the M-F work hours up to 10 hours and also requires every other Saturday as needed to meet production needs. **INCENTIVE BONUS** New Hire Incentive Bonus: $1000 in 3 payments ($200 @ 3 mo.?s - $400 @ 6 mo.?s - $400 @ 12 mo.?s) *can?t have any disciplines in that quarter Granted the Employee has no writeup in the quarter they would get the following payments: $200 after 3 months $400 after 6 months $400 after 12 months JOB SUMMARY: Perform production welding on mild steel to assemble parts together using the MIG process under the supervision of an Arc Welder #1 or lead person. Will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to Arc Welder #2 classification. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Responsible for the quality of the parts produced. Follow all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding. Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety. QUALIFICATIONS: Physically able to do work requiring frequent standing, bending and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently. Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple Production reports. Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts. Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly. Must be able to pass the spirometry (respiratory) test per OSHA requirements. | |
