Position: Logistics Coordinator
Location: TEXAS, HOUSTON (REMOTE)
Pay Rate: $20/ HR
Laptop Provided: Yes, if needed


Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:

- Familiarity and ability to perform assignments related to inbound logistics, dock to dock inventory location controls, and outbound logistics.
- Interface with the inventory control system through the Legacy system to quote customer's equipment.
- Stay updated on all PSI Program changes and ensure compliance with Anexo 24 and Article 303 to avoid exposure to penalties, fines, or loss of import privileges.
- Maintain continuous communication with the U.S. Warehouse and Shipping Department to verify proper documentation of imported/exported goods.
- Communicate with Freight Companies to ensure timely pickup of shipments.
- Update the PSI database with costs information for parts (raw materials).
- Maintain a daily report on all Import/Export movements, including departure and arrival times, red light inspections, etc.
- Strictly follow up on all Import/Export shipments from the time they leave the Plant/U.S. Warehouse to their destination and keep involved parties informed.
- Control Truck Safety Seals in compliance with C-TPAT requirements.
- Prepare Imported and Exported Equipment Reports for the Accounting Department, including monthly statistics and annual operations reports for SECON.
- Inspect products based on quality checklists, notify supervisors of discrepancies, and record inventory transactions.
- Make routine adjustments to work area machines or systems.

Basic Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and understand routine written procedures, notices, and bulletins directed to individuals in a defined work area.
- Ability to coordinate efforts to achieve group objectives and work with the group to reach joint decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.
- Logistics knowledge/experience.
- Forklift certification required.
- WMS Experience, Scanning & Barcoding, Forklift Experience, and Dispatch experience.

- Ideal candidate pay rate is no more than $20/hour, which is equivalent to FTE pay.
