Public Safety Officer: Full-time 6:00 AM ? 6:00 PM shift (schedules rotate to work every other weekend). This will likely be the night shift 6:00 PM ? 6:00 AM. Salary of $54,700 after all required training is completed. So they would go to this salary when all police and fire training is completed. The beginning salary would be at the lowest $49,000 which would be no experience and we have to send to the academy. Higher salary for a certified Virginia Law Enforcement Officer to be based on experience. Must be able to pass TSA background and all State and Federal background requirements. | |
