Job Title: Operations Associate Pay: $17/hr Location: Metro Atlanta, GA Shift: 8 AM - 2 PM, Monday - Friday Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent Operations Associate to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with 0-3 years of experience who are looking to build a career in warehouse operations. The role involves performing product receiving activities, ensuring the quality and accuracy of shipments, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Check, inspect, examine, and count all incoming products to verify quality and quantity against purchase orders. - Communicate any discrepancies in purchase orders to warehouse management and merchandising teams. - Coordinate with drivers to ensure proper docking and trailer security before unloading. - Document all overages, shortages, and damages. - Notify warehouse management and merchandisers about delays in scheduled truck arrivals. - Manage the return of unwanted products to the truck and ensure all necessary paperwork is signed before releasing the truck. - Collaborate with lumper services to facilitate timely unloading of trucks. - Maintain cleanliness in the dock area and perform other warehouse duties as assigned. Requirements: - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Comfortable wearing steel-toed boots (required for safety). - No prior equipment experience necessary. | |
