JOB DESCRIPTION
The candidates will train as a Mold Stripper within the first 2 weeks of starting. The Mold Stripper works between two furnaces ? it is a very hot job. This position works 40 minutes and breaks 20 minutes of every hour. Candidates will also work other jobs as described in the description below.

Interview: No interview will be conducted. Manager to review resume and PMO to extend offer.

General Laborer Position for the client Sedalia, MO Plant

General Laborers/Production Workers work 12-Hour shifts, 6a-6p, or 6p-6a. Candidates may state their shift preference but will be assigned as needed to fill openings on any shift. Candidates must be able to work the day or night shift which may change during your assignment due to production or staffing changes. Workers must also be able to stand at their stations for 1-2 hours. The facility is not temperature controlled (except in breakrooms/restrooms) and the environment is hot (especially in the summer months), dusty, dirty, and noisy. Workers must have steel or composite toe boots/shoes and wear other protective gear that will be provided by the plant. Contact lenses cannot be worn in the plant.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Mold Strippers remove 12-15 lb. glass blocks from 50 lb. mold pans and place the blocks into a cooling oven of approximately 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Mold strippers are stationed between two ovens, so the area is VERY HOT, even in colder months. Because of the temperature in this work area, mold strippers are provided proper safety gear for protection from the heat, cooling air blows down on each mold stripper, and they have more rest breaks than other employees. Mold strippers work 40 minutes and break 20 minutes of every hour. This job requires standing the entire shift, except when on break. Mold strippers must wear a short-sleeve shirt layered over a long-sleeve shirt.

Foamsil Packers pick up small, fragile, glass blocks (approx. size 6? x 9? x 2?) from a constantly moving conveyor and pack them into a cardboard box with slip sheets. The workspace is small and involves constant turning and twisting from the conveyor to a packing station (a 90-degree turn). The work environment is very dusty and noisy. It can be cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Clothing may can get dirty and stained; be sure not to wear anything that could be ruined. Dress in layers to be comfortable for varying weather/temperature conditions.

Pan Scrapers clean out mold pans using a scraper and/or spray hose. Pan scrapers stand next to a moving conveyor that transports very hot stainless-steel mold pans. The environment is hot, noisy, dirty, and dusty.

Grill Brick Packers pick up small, fragile, shrink-wrapped glass bricks (approx. size 3.5? x 4? x 7.75?) from a constantly moving conveyor and pack them into a cardboard box. The workspace is small and involves constant turning and twisting from the conveyor to a packing station (a 90-degree turn). The work environment is very dusty and noisy. Clothing may can get dirty and stained; be sure not to wear anything that could be ruined. Dress in layers to be comfortable.

Laborers assist with various tasks including cleaning, re-processing defective product, etc. Laborers may work from pallets - removing product from pallets and placing on a conveyor belt.
