Customer Service Rep needed for a 3PL company in Cerritos Ca. 1st Shift $20-22/hr Long Term (depending on performance) Duties: -Assist with Operations and Logistical department -Handle shipment scheduling, planning, updating and shipment tracking -Organizing and overseeing freight shipments from start to finish -Coordinating transportation delivery logistics with overseas suppliers, domestic trucking companies and warehouses, and international shipping carriers to ensure safe and timely delivery to clients -Update clients on shipment schedule/status as needed -Filing and data entry along with other paperwork duties -Collaborate with other company departments to ensure timely shipping -Handle customer service issues as needed, such as researching and resolving shipment discrepancies, damages or product quality issues -Ensuring timely and accurate compliance with Customs/import/export regulations -Other duties may be assigned to accomplish company or department objectives. - Please specify which freight operating systems you have used in the past with resume and/or application. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: · Must be Computer literate (Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word and Excel) · Detailed oriented and organized, with a high level of accuracy and precision with electronic and paper records -Must be bi-lingual in Spanish -Must have 1 year Logistics experience -Experience in Shipping is a plus (Fed Ex/UPS) Dependable · Professional people and communication skills, particularly with telephone and email · Able to follow standard operating procedures and follow up without having to be reminded · Operating in a collaborative environment with other company departments to meet department and company goals Please submit your resume for immediate consideration | |
