JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Assembler for our client in Liberty, MS! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $13.50/Hour Description: Summary Responsible to assemble fabric patterns according to work instructions, drawings, etc. to create air holding devices. Seams of the fabric are joined by applying adhesive or through a thermal welding process. Hand tools are used during construction of the assembly using adhesives. Forced hot air and mechanical pressure take the place of the hand tools in the thermos bonding process. Performs all duties as outlines in the Basic Training Checklist. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs tasks assigned by Lead and Production Manager. Participates in training programs. Accurately reports all labor transactions. Supports and trains new employees as needed. Supports Company goals and missions. Complies with all safety regulations. Treats co-workers and supervisors with respect. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Supports the continuous improvement goals of the Company. Complies with all rules, regulations and procedures of the Company. Continuously works as a team member. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Examples: Requires a Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Engineering, and Purchasing or related field and 8+ years purchasing negotiation experience in a fast paced manufacturing sector such as Aerospace, Automotive, High tech, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires 5 years management or supervisory experience working with a team of 10+ members. Knowledge/Skills Employee must have the ability to red and interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and manuals. Math skills must include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The employee must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in either written, oral, or diagram form. Examples: Bilingual in English and French and/or English and Spanish - Preferred Must be an initiative taker ?
