Location: San Diego, CA 92121 Shift Options: 1st shift: 5am-1:30pm Pay rate $19.00 M-F. *MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERTIME AS NEEDED* Benefits: 401K Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Weekly Pay (every Friday) 45 days temp to hire. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Competent computer skills for data entry in a testing environment (MUST HAVE COMPUTER SKILLS-PLEASE ADD RELEVANT INFORMATION ON RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED). Ability to read, write, and comprehend English specifications and perform basic math calculations. Responsibilities: Perform assembly, testing, and packaging tasks for medical devices. Conduct quality inspections according to specifications. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines. Work collaboratively in a team environment. Maintain punctuality and flexibility in working hours. Willingness to undertake various tasks and responsibilities. Ability to meet physical demands such as standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, and occasional lifting. Must be able to lift occasionally up to 50 lbs. Performing electrical safety checks. Performance testing of devices. Multiple Quality inspections and packaging. Additionally, candidates must adhere to housekeeping and safety policies and procedures set by the company. Uses a variety of equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials, parts, assemblies and finished products or goods within a plant, office or warehouse. May maintain records. Develops skills in basic tasks, techniques and procedures within one skill area / process / method. Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines. High school diploma or equivalent. Zero (0) to one (1) year warehouse experience or related experience and/or training. Ability to read, write, interpret and comprehend documents written in English and perform basic math calculations. Physical Demand ? The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally the position will have exposure to work in high, precarious places and fumes/airborne particles. It is hot in the summer months (no AC) and cold in the winter months (limited heating).
