JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Food Quality Assurance Specialist for our client in New Braunfels TX! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.00/Hour Mon-Fri 8 AM to 5 PM This job primarily focuses on the inspection of produce. Description: You'll check fruits and veggies to make sure they're good to go. That means looking at them, weighing them, and checking their temperature. If something's not right, you'll let the boss know. Your Tasks: Look at fruits and veggies to make sure they're okay. Weigh them and measure stuff like length and width. Keep track of what you find. Tell the boss if something's wrong. Make sure customers get good stuff. Learn about different fruits and veggies. Work with other folks to make sure everything's going smoothly. What You Need: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Can read, write, and talk in English. Know some basic math. Used a computer before. Worked in a place like this for at least six months. Able to lift and carry heavy stuff. Can stand, bend, and move around. Comfortable working in different temperatures. If You Work with Meat: Know the rules for handling meat. Understand what different cuts of meat look like. Can read labels and tickets. Maybe worked with meat before. If You Work with Produce: Know about different fruits and veggies. Can tell if they're fresh or not. Experience using a Handheld scanner to scan and enter information to enter counts for particular items have worked in cold/freezer, dry, cold environment. Be OK working in the cold/freezer, dry, cold (PPE will be provided for the freezer) ability to walk for the duration of the shift, excluding breaks. Proof of good attendance record (6+ months experience at past employers over the past 2 years. | |
