The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the HR Manager and HR Business Partner to drive local initiatives while aligning with regional and corporate strategies. This position aims to foster a talent-rich environment within the Operating Company (OpCo) to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Conduct and coordinate essential HR processes such as new hire orientation, unemployment claims management, onboarding, exit interviews, transitional return-to-work programs, leave administration, and OSHA reporting.
Offer coaching and guidance to associates and supervisors on policy and procedural matters.
Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to facilitate recruitment and staffing initiatives.
Manage eTime system and assist with payroll-related activities.
Support HRBP in cultivating an inclusive and diverse workplace culture.
Administer programs designed to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction levels.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred for internal candidates).
Experience:

2-5 years of Human Resources management experience or equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, & Registrations:

Preferred certification: Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) Professional Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR).
Workday experience preferred.
Professional Skills:

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in active listening and understanding others' perspectives.
Strong problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning.
Ability to motivate, develop, and guide team members.
Aptitude for adapting actions in response to others' behaviors.
Skilled in identifying and resolving complex issues.
Capacity to generate multiple ideas on a given topic.
Physical Demands:

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and operate computer equipment.
Occasional lifting and moving of up to 20 pounds may be required.
