Weekly Pay! $77.00/Hour Shift Timings:8:00AM to 5:00PM Description: Please note that this position will be doing some design work and Project Engineer work. So it is preferred if the candidate knows CREO software. Please note that it is preferred to have a local candidate (Midwest or Iowa) for ease of relocation, knowing weather and no visa issues if we decide to hire on permanent to SE. Responsible for engineering and project administration activities related to specific circuit breaker product families. Perform engineering analyses, including thermal, electromagnetic, dynamic, and structural, using experience applying basic engineering principles. Ensure compliance with specific ratings, product specifications, and standards requirements. Participate in cross-functional teams with Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, and procurement functions. Perform methodical problem solving to assist in product line production Support design activities, such as brainstorming, database management and development, design/peer reviews, and general analysis, including tolerance analysis, using experience with basic machine design. Ensure products meet requirements for Design for Manufacturing (DFM). Assist in root cause analysis by way of the 5 Why and Ishikawa processes Generate innovative design proposals to suffice application and engineering requirements, including but not limited to 3D assemblies and new components design such as: molded plastic parts, springs, mechanisms, sheet metal parts, and insulators. Desired: CREO knowledge. Create technical specifications, 2D drawings, bill of materials and additional required documentation to achieve robust project documentation and reliable manufacturing. | |
