We?re seeking Production Operators to work at a premier manufacturing company in New Century, KS. Why you should apply to be a Production Operator? 2nd Shift: 3:30pm ? 1:30am, Monday through Thursday $19.50 per hour Mandatory OT is possible on Friday and during week by coming in early or staying late Temporary job opportunity (1 Month assignment) What?s a typical day as a Production Operator? You?ll be: -Assembles packaging boxes, reads electronics scales, and packages the complete blended products in accordance with label description. -Seals internal plastic liners using an electronic sealer. -Place completed boxes onto pallets and wrap pallets. -Adjust controls as needed to ensure quality production. May increase or decrease the speed of equipment using HMI or other controls. -You may pack the whole product by hand or pack it into a box by weight. -Inspect the product to ensure that it is made according to specifications. -Performs sanitation duties always to keep the area clean. -Performs all duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP requirements. -Adheres to uniform requirements and company PPE requirements. -Works with QA department to provide necessary samples at prescribed times. Makes necessary adjustments to product based on feedback. -Assists with detailed cleaning activities in rooms as well as other areas of plant on a regular basis and ensures that all lines have a smooth transition to oncoming shift. -Fills out all necessary paperwork. -Ensures all safety rules are adhered to; communicating issues or concerns that cannot be resolved by crew or supervisors. -Performs all other related duties as required. You may be a good fit for this position, if: You have manufacturing experience (preferred). You can lift up to 50lbs frequently and work in a fast-paced environment. You have basic math skills.
