Description

The job involves overseeing daily operations and maintenance of a chiller facility. Responsibilities include managing a team, coordinating work orders, ensuring safety compliance, and providing good customer service. The role also involves preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of chiller systems, with a focus on HVAC and mechanical systems. Knowledge of electrical electronic systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and guide a team of technicians, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Coordinate work orders for timely completion and efficient resource use.
Conduct regular facility inspections, address maintenance needs promptly.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
Perform repairs on HVAC, boilers, chillers, pumps, electrical, fire alarm, security, and automation systems.
Ensure safety compliance, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with contractors.
Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to improve facility operations.
Service, repair, maintain, monitor, and adjust HVAC systems.
Provide direction and training to less experienced team members.
Plan, select, and lay out materials for service, repair, and maintenance work.
Operate tools and machines according to established safety procedures.
Participate in an on call rotation for emergency situations.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

Tw -year technical degree or two years' experience in operations and maintenance.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in facilities operations or maintenance.
Indepth knowledge of maintenance fundamentals and various trades skills.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem solving and decision making abilities.
Detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of OSHA codes, Metasys, and low voltage control systems.
Physical ability for basic maintenance tasks, including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Universal EPA Refrigeration Certification.
Valid driver?s license and ability to pass a thorough background check and interview.
