JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Selector for our client in Jacksonville FL! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! 16.50/Hour DESCRIPTION: Before you apply, make sure you've worked with electric pallet jacks and can handle working in temperatures from really cold to pretty warm. You'll need to lift stuff up to 75 pounds a lot. You should have done this kind of work for at least 2 years, with steady jobs every 6 months. Your job will be to drive an electric pallet or forklift, pick out the right stuff from shelves in the warehouse, put labels on the stuff using special technology, stack it on pallets, and take it to the loading dock safely and quickly. You'll pick out orders in different parts of the warehouse where it might be cold, cool, or even freezing. You'll use a special machine to make labels and put them on the right stuff. You'll stack the stuff on pallets the right way and wrap them up so they're safe to move. You'll use equipment safely, like the pallet jack and the label machine, and check them before and after using them. You have to follow safety rules all the time and keep things clean to follow rules. You might have to work longer on holidays and weekends until all the orders are done right. You should be good at working fast all through your shift and not making mistakes with the orders. You'll learn about the products, where they go, and how to keep track of them. You need to be at least 18 years old, able to read, write, and understand English for the job and safety, know basic math, and be fit enough to lift up to 100 pounds often. It would be great if you finished high school or got an equivalent diploma. You'll be reporting to the Night Warehouse Manager or Supervisor. | |
