Position: Quality Control Pay: $22.00 per hour to start Shift: Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. + OT as needed Scope of Position: -Assist P.M Checking and Wrapping orders Supervisor with Completion orders to be delivered next day. Help with Checking and Wrapping of orders and Loading trucks. Requirements: -Must have at least 1 year experience with the following warehouse equipment: Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Sit-down Forklift and Stand on Electric Pallet Jack. Key Responsibilities: -Prepare a staging area for orders to be picked. -Assist supervisor with arranging orders and routes. -Pull orders in sequence of availability of trucks. -Make sure frozen orders are pulled in a timely manner based on workload. -Check orders for accuracy, completion and cleanliness. -Properly wrap pallets. -Assign trucks for Order Pullers to combine according to route. -Make sure pallets are labeled and loaded on correct trucks, check before loading. -Load trucks ensuring weight and safety restrictions are observed. -Assist supervisor in coaching employees in stacking orders to make them more efficient. -Assist supervisor in notating products in wrong locations or labeled incorrectly. -Keep the wrap area clean. (Removing turntable once month to clean under it) -Make sure equipment is being treated with care, report any damages -Assist with Invoicing as needed. -But not limited to only these responsibilities. New Employee Training: -Show employee warehouse layout. -Train employee with order selector. (Show proper unplugging and plugging of equipment.) -Where to park equipment and end of shift. -Train employee with ISO -Assist co-workers with incoming freight to familiarize self with product -Show employees proper stacking methods to put products away. -Have new employees pull will-calls to practice with proper stacking. -Train employees with reach truck. | |
