Seeking to hire a Healthcare Consultant for our client in Manhattan, Kansas 66502. Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! 37.00 per Hour Monday to Friday 8a to 5p LOCATIONS NEEDED WILL BE Manhattan, KS Atchison County KS This is a full time telework role based in Kansas with occasional travel 50 to 75 percent once COVID restrictions are lifted. The schedule is Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Responsibilities include Developing, implementing, supporting, and promoting Health Services strategies, policies, and programs for Aetna to enhance quality healthcare delivery and competitive advantage. Utilizing critical thinking to inform and collaborate in the case management process, facilitating appropriate healthcare outcomes through care coordination, support, and education. Key Duties Evaluating member needs and eligibility, recommending appropriate care approaches based on benefit plans and available programs services. Identifying high risk factors and service needs, referring to clinical case management or crisis intervention as needed. Coordinating and monitoring care plan activities to enhance medical appropriateness and quality of care. Overcoming barriers through consultations, case presentations, and multidisciplinary reviews. Escalating quality of care issues and negotiating appropriate options and services. Engaging members to promote lifestyle and behavior changes for optimal health outcomes. Providing coaching, information, and support to empower members in healthcare decision making. Monitoring, evaluating, and documenting care using case and quality management processes in compliance with regulations and company policies.
