Job Title: Oracle ODI Developer Location: New York, NY 10003 Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote Hours: Start time 8:00am Contract Length: 6 months Pay Range: Based upon experience Position Summary: Design and develop interfaces utilizing Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Map data between transactions applications, data warehouses, and other systems Map data from transactional applications (source) to data warehouse (target) Create Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) interfaces or packages Create and maintain logical and physical data models that adhere to data specification standards Work with business customers, system architects, developers, and other IT sections to develop enterprise-grade integrations with Oracle's products and Business Intelligence reporting solutions Work with the Oracle Integration Lead and system owner to determine and document their business needs to facilitate solutions through the design and development of ETL processes via ODI Develop and maintain ETL processes that meet project-specific business and technical requirements and those of the overall enterprise data warehouse data integration portfolio. Document ETL processes, source code, and controls using standard tools and processes Perform data integrity checks and data validations Ensure the integrity and performance of data structures Design and develop complex mappings, process flows and ETL scripts. Integrate ODI with multiple sources/targets; use Python or Java scripts to support ETL interfaces; schedule ODI jobs, configure monitoring and alerting mechanisms. Troubleshoot ODI and WebLogic server issues and respond to monitoring alerts within the OAS environment Review proposed solutions and guide technical teams and system integrators concerning the development of integration frameworks Evaluates proof-of-concepts (POCs) for alignment with the Enterprise Architecture strategic roadmap; support POC justifications to senior management Lead complex integration projects, assess risks, and create project plans that meet strategic objectives and outcomes. Function as Lead Analyst for interfaces associated with one or more technology products, major enterprise applications or medium sized department portfolios Develop integration design documents, project plans for complex projects, business cases including value analysis, and support integration implementations. Coach and influence business managers in technology decisions. Prepare and conduct regular status updates on in-process projects. Use HPI tools; respond to incidents, triage and remediate issues, and conduct root cause analysis. Communicate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups to influence project outcomes and achieve enterprise goals Engage with customers and business leaders, solicit and implement feedback; and manage change. Develop written policy and procedures, job aids and/or instructions. Must be flexible and able to work off-hours as required to support deployments, resolve production problems or respond to corporate emergencies Perform other related tasks and assignments as required Relevant Work Experience Experience with Load balancing and High Availability in in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Experience with Oracle databases in performance tuning and optimization. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills with audiences at multiple levels and across multiple disciplines. Must be able to plan, organize and lead meetings. Must be able to translate functional to technical information. Must be able to develop documentation that will be consumed by users of diverse backgrounds and skills. Possess an excellent work ethic, demonstrate both integrity and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. Have excellent teamwork skills, being able to collaborate with, listen to and mediate between team members and non-team members alike. Have the ability to learn new technologies as required for the job using documentation and other available resources. Demonstrate flexibility to work on multiple assignments with changing priorities and stay on schedule/on budget. Experience with production support, disaster recovery planning and related drills. Provide off-hour production support on a rotating schedule. | |
