JobsRUs.com is hiring for a Cycle Counter for a large well-known automotive parts manufacturing company in Fraser, MI.

Hourly pay is $20.00 per hour. Shift hours are 6:00am - 2:00pm.

Essential responsibilities:
Responsible for Cycle-counting parts, report and investigate discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.

The main missions of the role are to:
Count correctly all part numbers and parked trailers according to daily schedule.
Explain if any count/recount discrepancy found.
Ensure that cycle count sheets are done legible with sum by location, by part number in paper and Excel.
Have the cycle count sheets archived according to site procedures, accurately and timely.
Report cycle accuracy and adherence to schedule daily
Support investigation and analysis of count results to solve problems with inventory accuracy
Responsible to operate forklift / train to move materials, supplies and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto/off-of truck trailers.
Perform required operation and safety checks prior to signing out assigned forklift / train ? complete safety checklist at beginning of shift and follow all forklift/train safety rules at all times.
Notify GAP Leader and/or Supervisor when equipment malfunctions occur.
Commits to the corporate goals, mission and vision.
Adheres to and stays abreast of company policies.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
Satisfactory company work record, including attendance
Proven Basic level of Computer skills (Typing and Microsoft excel)
Trained and certified to operate forklift and train
Demonstrate the ability to perform to the quality standard and production pace
Ability to follow instruction verbal and written
Good communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levels
Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and in a positive manner
Valid driver?s license
Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to the company?s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
