We seek skilled sit-down forklift operators and material handlers for a local food production company in Franklin, WI. Previous sit-down forklift experience is required. 1st shift Pay $22.50/hr Job Summary: The Material Handler, under general supervision, is responsible for operating a gas or electric-powered forklift truck to move, stack, load, or unload materials, parts, and finished goods. Essential Job Duties: ?Loads/unloads trucks. ?Uses a pallet jack to move pallets around the production area, stages packaging materials on the production line, and occasionally loads packaging conveyors with individual cases of product. ?Accesses Oracle and enters information. ?Supports and participates in continuous Improvement initiatives, including 5S (sort, set, shine, standardize, and sustain). ?Must be able to a minimum of 65 lbs. ?Consistently performs other duties as required.
