JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Laboratory Technician for our client in Lexington MA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $17.24/Hour Description: The desired candidate will perform laboratory support functions including Glasswasher, media prep, inventory maintenance, receiving, bio-waste collection, and other tasks as required. Daily, the candidate will collect dirty glassware, wash glassware, drying and autoclave glassware, and place glassware back into inventory. Candidate must maintain order in glass wash area. Daily inventory of media stock, make and replenish as needed. Maintain a clean working environment Collect and package or sterilize biowaste on a daily/weekly basis Inventory and stocking are to be done daily. Receive and distribute packages daily (includes answering the door and signing for packages). Additional tasks as requested Requirements: Bachelor?s Degree or Biotechnology Certificate and a minimum of 0-2 years related work experience or high school diploma and a minimum of 1-3 years related experience. Must be able to lift 50lbs. Stand and walk for majority of shift Candidate must be able to work both independently and in a group environment and adapt flexibly to scheduling changes They must be willing to take on new job-related tasks and responsibilities Ability to follow SOPs and applies technical skills in defined areas with guidance. The candidate must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with other lab support/scientific staff and have a ?Whatever it takes,? attitude mastering new tasks. Preferred but not required; RCRA, DOT, and IATA trained. Applicant must have authorization to work in the U.S. | |
