JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire an Equipment Operator for our client in Sayreville, NJ! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.50/Hr Monday ? Friday 7:30 am ? 3:30 pm You'll work six days a week during the first week of each month, and the company might ask for extra hours sometimes, depending on what's needed. To apply, you should have at least one year of experience using a reach truck and a double blade pallet jack. You'll also need to know how to operate a reach truck and a cherry picker, and it's important to have worked in a warehouse before. Plus, you must have a reliable way to get to work, and you'll need to wear steel-toed boots. During your shift, you'll wear a headset while operating the reach truck. A computer will tell you where to go to pick up products, but it only speaks English. The warehouse isn't temperature-controlled, so dress accordingly. Your main job will be to stock received merchandise in the right place. You'll also operate and take care of warehouse equipment. This includes using an electric forklift to move things around and loading and unloading pallets with pallet jacks and forklifts. You'll keep things tidy by sweeping, removing ice, and getting rid of trash. Sometimes you might also pick orders. To qualify, you should have at least a year of warehouse experience and be certified to use pallet jacks and forklifts. You'll need to understand English, do basic math, and have some computer skills. You'll report to an Inbound or Outbound Warehouse Supervisor. | |
