JobsRUs.com is looking for a skilled Accountant in the Richmond, VA Area!!! Schedule: M-F 8am - 4:30pm Payrate: $28.00/Hr Benefits: Weekly pay Health insurance 401k Holidays This Accountant will perform agency-wide fiscal duties related to accounting functions and other fiscal reporting to include but not limited to: Agency Financial Reconciliations Reconciliation of agency wide credit card usage Manage deposit activities Assists with the agency?s fixed asset inventory & accounting records Assists with the agency?s Fiscal Year End activities & reports Prepares journal entries for agency credit card and other functions Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Commonwealth Accounting Policies & Procedures This position will maintain appropriate documentation and apply accounting principles and practices to maintain accounting systems. They will prepare financial statements and other fiscal reports. They must have considerable skill in the use of computers, Microsoft Office with advanced skill in Excel and Cardinal or similar automated accounting systems. The applicant must have the ability to meet reporting and close out deadlines, as well as, ensuring record keeping is compliant and ensure quality control of documentation. Applicant must have excellent professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. They must have the ability to work in a team environment, to build rapport and collaboration as well as, the ability to deliver excellent customer service to a diverse group of internal and external customers. | |
