What to Know About the Shipping Warehouse Associates Role: As a Shipping Warehouse Associates., your mission is to ensure the safe and damage-free handling of all products and parts throughout the warehouse. You will play a crucial role in accurate acquisition and disposition of products in the bound book using the ERP system. Shipping Warehouse Associates Responsibilities: Acquire and dispose of products in the bound book with precision using the ERP system. Band and wrap pallets to maintain product quality. Prepare packaging materials for products. Affix labels properly to the outside of product containers. Perform counts on parts under direct supervision. Assemble boxes to meet established daily goals. Transport materials, supplies, and finished goods with care and caution. Maintain a sound working knowledge and application of safety. Perform initial inspection of own work to ensure minimal mistakes in product assembly. Produce the required quantity of parts and/or products to meet daily goals. Complete all required paperwork timely and accurately. Adhere to all employment and safety policies established by the Company. Wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment as directed. Report any maintenance and/or safety issues to the supervisor immediately. Maintain respect, courtesy, a positive attitude, and professionalism towards all co-workers and the Company. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Knowledge Required: Shipping Warehouse Associates General computer skills highly desirable. Adherence to essential functions of the position, including attendance and timeliness. Ability to accept and follow directions. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Shipping Warehouse Associates Working Conditions: Work is performed in a climate-controlled office environment and a heated manufacturing and warehouse facility. Limited exposure to extreme heat/cold, poor ventilation, fumes, and gases. Moderate noise level, including light manufacturing, shipping, receiving, and normal office equipment. Shipping Warehouse Associates Physical Demands: Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and seek assistance if necessary. Frequent and repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling of objects.
