JobsRUS.com is currently looking for a Machine Operator for a Marshfield, WI-based company. The ideal candidate will operate Sanders and CNCs during 2nd shift from 3:25 PM to 1:55 AM. Job Details: The role involves the setup, adjustment, and operation of individual machines, work cells or positions within a work center. The operator must read process documentation to determine physical specifications and processing steps, set up and adjust equipment, and understand drawings, change heads, inserts, and other replacement tooling. They must also gather materials required for the assembly of doors, perform quality checks, and operate motorized equipment (such as forklifts and KVAL lifts) as needed. The operator must also perform minor preventative maintenance and operator care as required, i.e. oiling, and minor tooling replacement. Additionally, they must assist management, maintenance, and quality personnel when troubleshooting equipment, process, or material issues, communicate effectively for the flow of doors, maintain downtime records and production information as appropriate, perform housekeeping duties, and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. They must wear appropriate personal protection equipment, work safely and follow safety rules and procedures, and work with over 60 lbs. occasionally (up to 25% in an 8-hour day), push/pull 100 lbs. w/ assistance seldom (up to 13% in an 8 hr. day), kneel/squat occasionally (up to 25% in an 8-hour day), stoop frequently (up to 67% in an 8-hour day), twist occasionally (up to 25% in an 8-hour day), and stand in one spot for long periods. Requirements: The candidate must be able to read and write English and read a tape measure. They must have experience operating machines and know the materials and products, as well as the proper method to lock out/ tag out the machine. They must be able to change bits, blades, and drill bits and inform and report any issues with the machine to maintenance and supervisors. This position requires a high level of responsibility, concentration, and a basic level of supervision to set up and run the machine properly. Looking for employment?
