JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Assembler for our client in San Diego, CA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $18.24/Hour Shift:11PM - 7:30AM Mon- Fri Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Special Considerations: Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant. Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, or other physical risks are anticipated. Position will require changing of production molds for earplugs. This action require a good amount of strength in order to lock mold into place.Prior production experience preferred Ensure candidate experience relates to that provided in job description and experience is clearly identifiable on resume for client review Start date will be moved up as needed in order for selected candidate to start ASAP once on-boarding is completed/clear and final clearance is obtained. Be sure your candidates are available to start right away once on-boarding is complete. Opportunity for contract-to-hire based on worker performance, worker attendance and dependability and client business needs PPE - Steel toed shoes required Worker will utilize eCharge for weekly time reporting. Supplier should register in Fieldglass on behalf of worker as he/she will not need access to this system. It is imperative that the registration is completed as soon as possible after receipt of registration invitation. client manager is responsible for training worker to utilize eCharge system.
