JobsRus.com is in search of experienced Quality Inspectors in Covington, GA.

SHIFT DETAILS:
Monday-Thursday, 2:30 pm to 1:00 am, with the possibility of overtime.
Overtime may include earlier start times, later end times, and some Fridays.
$17.00/HR
(Training on First Shift 6:00 am- 2:30 pm for the first two weeks)


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Performs visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on a wide variety of products following internal procedures and Product Specifications.
? Accurately prepares inspection paperwork and result documentation.
? Verifies Documentation of product lot records to ensure compliance with Bard?s product specifications and good documentation procedures.
? Prepares non-conformance (MRR/Rejection) notices (where appropriate).
? Performs re-work functions in accordance with procedures and internal protocols
? Utilizes sampling plans to determine inspection levels for routine quality inspections
? Trains on all applicable procedures as it relates to the Quality Technician role
? Participates as needed as a quality representative for small team activities for process improvements
? Cross trains to provide quality control coverage as needed to support business needs/ strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS
? Have previous experience in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA) (preferred)
? Proficient in the use of personal computers with a basic level of keyboarding skills
? Ability to utilize measurement equipment (calibrated rulers & weights, calipers, etc. ) a plus
? Must be detail-oriented
? Self-starter, must be able to work independently with little direct supervision
? Responsible decision maker, ability to reason and make sound decisions
? Experience with Continuous Improvement, Problem Analysis, Root Cause Investigation
? Understand quality sampling plans and must be able to read and understand AQL inspection plans
? Experience in performing quality inspections in process or within a lab environment.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High School Education or equivalent
One to two years of related Quality Control experience or equivalency



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Regularly required to sit and talk or hear.
Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
