Job Title: Precision Grinder Pay: $ 28.50 Location: Irvine, CA Schedule: Monday-Friday (2:30 - 11:00pm) Job Description: JobsRUs is looking for an experienced and dedicated Machinist with senior level experience. You will conduct developmental, prototyping, and experimental machining tasks using diverse machine shop equipment. Participate in complex projects, designing jigs, fixtures, and temporary tooling. Actively contribute to lean practices for productivity and cost reduction. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate multiple production machines effectively. - Execute machining operations including part reworking. - Perform machine adjustments and report malfunctions promptly. - Secure work pieces using standard fixtures. - Install and adjust cutting tools as required. - Follow established manufacturing procedures and adjust parameters for quality. - Inspect parts meticulously using precision instruments. - Maintain equipment cleanliness, accuracy, and reliability. - Perform statistical process control and contribute to lean initiatives. - Adhere to company policies and safety regulations. Job Requirements: - High school diploma/GED. - Experience in O.D. Grind, I.D. Grind, and Crush Grind. - Minimum 3 years of machining experience. - Ability to work independently in a team environment. - Proficient in machine setups and blueprint interpretation. - Knowledge of machine shop mathematics. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. | |
