JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Assembler for our client in Urbana, OH! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $17.00/Hour Shift: 7:00AM-3:30PM Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. May require 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Special Considerations: Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions. Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated. Operation of a Powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures. Training will be OJT (on the job) during first shift hours. ALL OT MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BY CLIENT SUPERVISOR BEFORE ANY OT HOURS ARE ACCRUED BY EMPLOYEE Opportunity for contract-to-hire based on worker performance, worker attendance and dependability and client's business needs. Ensure candidate experience relates to that provided in job description and experience is clearly identifiable on resume for client review CANDIDATES MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN ONLY Start date will be moved up as needed in order for selected candidate to start ASAP once on-boarding is completed/clear and final clearance is obtained. Be sure your candidates are available to start right away once on-boarding is complete. The minimum level of education required for assignments is High School diploma/GED. Suppliers should obtain a copy of the candidates highest level of education (HSD/GED or degree) to avoid delays in onboarding; unless otherwise stated in req Worker will utilize TWB for weekly time reporting. Supplier should register in Fieldglass on behalf of worker as he/she will not need access to this system. It is imperative that the registration is completed as soon as possible after receipt of registration invitation. The client manager is responsible for training the worker for time entry into TWB. Subco Bonus Program to 3k, and a change in the pay-out structure: $1k at 14 days w/perfect attendance; $1k at 60 days $1k at 90 days | |
