Act as the Owner for the Fort Smith Employee Company Store Provide excellent customer service, while following all rules and guidelines for Company Store. Correctly follow payment handling procedures, ensuring confidentiality is maintained. Maintain inventory using FIFO to minimize waste, order additional inventory as needed, clearance aging product to avoid waste. Maintain accurate pricing on regular and sales items. Manage own work flow to add value during slow customer flow times Provide inventory and sales reports to HR Manager Ensure safe work environment for self and others by complying with all safety rules, requirements, and programs, as well as making suggestions to improve safety of the facility and personnel. Perform area housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and sanitary company store area. Management reserves the right, as it deems necessary to assign jobs on a temporary basis in any manner that supports efficient plant operations. Basic or minimum Qualifications/Abilities: Attendance is critical; absences cannot be tolerated due to the specific nature of the job and No Back Up for this role Must be computer literate, organized and capable of learning/demonstrating correct use of Microsoft Excel and Email Must be able to communicate effectively and work closely with multiple individuals across different positions and skill levels. Physical Requirements Able to walk, stand, and sit for the duration of shift Ascend/Descend stairs and ladders throughout shift Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching to both ground level and overhead Wear all Required Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, to perform job tasks Lift up to up to 50 pounds independently, and heavier weights with assistance 2 Able to give and understand instructions and hold conversations in manufacturing environment, as well as an office or classroom setting Communicate with co-workers face to face, radio, and phone. Must possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment, disassemble and reassemble equipment, operate a computer and other standard office equipment Utilize phone and email for communication Vision adequate to manipulate equipment controls, complete paperwork, utilize computers, and have depth perception. | |
