Weekly Pay! $55.17/Hour shift:7AM-4PM Experience: At least two years clinical experience preferred, however not required. Other: Strong verbal and written communication and facilitation skills. Strong assessment skills, time management skills, critical thinking skills. Advanced computer skills. The assessment, care and treatment provided by Case Manager will be consistent with the specific age related needs of the patient. Is competent to care for patient age groups including Geriatric Adults. Must have ability to interact effectively with a variety of people and situations at all levels of the organization. Preferred: 2 years experience in acute care psychiatric hospital setting. Previous experience in working with the Geriatric patient population preferred. Preferred Certifications: Certification in hospital approved behavioral management program. Licensure: Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters in Social Work, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Under Supervision for Licensed Professional Counselor, Under Supervision for Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Certifications: Current CPR Certification within 90 days of start date Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Advisor implements program activities for the Geriatric clients served on the Behavioral Health Unit at Mercy Hospital Ada. Provides direct inpatient counseling services to clients served. Provides screening and assessment, as well as, Individual, Group, and Family Counseling to individuals suffering from Behavioral Health Disorders. Monitors and evaluates the quality and appropriateness of social services. Complies with all State and Federal regulations in relation to the Behavioral Health Unit. Performed duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and client Service Standards. | |
